Keshab Gurung, a photojournalist of Nagarik Khabar, has rescued the black kite injured in the left-wing near Bijuli Bazaar and handed it over to a Central Zoo in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur for treatment.
The zoo staff has said that it will be released after recovery. It is estimated that the eagle may have been injured by a catapult.
